Contribute to the development of arbitration in Australia by responding to the second ACICA/FTI Survey!

The Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) with the support of FTI Consulting, has launched a second survey on international arbitration. This time we are focussed on evidence!

The successful launch of the Australian Arbitration Report in 2021 indicated that arbitration as a dispute resolution mechanism in Australia is thriving. This empirical data has been useful in helping Australians understand the arbitration landscape.

Now we are turning to evidence. How billion-dollar disputes are being run, how $200,000 disputes are being run. Which types of evidence are persuasive. We are looking to you, whether you have an Australian connection or whether you are someone who is interested in providing empirical data to better understand evidence in international arbitration. This vitally important survey aims to give in-house lawyers, counsel, experts and arbitrators (or other) a chance to
provide feedback to the arbitral community about what works in arbitration and what can be improved. It is a vehicle through which you can have your say to shape the way arbitration practice develops in Australia and beyond.

The survey opens 7 November 2022 and closes 16 December 2022. We look forward to your feedback on this short survey!
