Samantha Kelsey Joins ACICA as Deputy Secretary-General
The Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) is pleased to announce the appointment of Samantha Kelsey as Deputy Secretary-General, effective immediately. Samantha joins ACICA after a distinguished career in private practice, where she demonstrated exceptional leadership and a strong commitment to advancing the field of dispute resolution.
As Deputy Secretary-General, Samantha will be supporting the Secretary-General, Diana Bowman, and the ACICA Board to strengthen ACICA’s position as Australia’s premier international arbitration institution and a leading institution in the Asia-Pacific region.

Prior to joining ACICA, Samantha held senior roles at Hall & Wilcox, a prominent Australian law firm, and Baker Botts in London and Dubai, where she specialised in commercial dispute resolution, with a particular focus on international arbitration. She has represented clients across a range of sectors, including construction, energy, and finance, and has a deep understanding of the needs of multinational businesses seeking effective, impartial, and efficient dispute resolution.
