Amy Cable Joins ACICA as Counsel
The Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration (ACICA) is delighted to announce the appointment of Amy Cable as Counsel, effective immediately.
Prior to joining ACICA, Amy gained over a decade of experience in international arbitration, as a member of the international arbitration teams of two global law firms, DLA Piper and Ashurst, both in London and Australia. During her time as counsel, Amy acted in arbitral proceedings across a broad range of sectors and under a wide range of arbitral rules. More recently, Amy has served as global Senior Expertise Lawyer for the international arbitration team at Ashurst, where she performed a hybrid expertise/knowledge management and business development role, leading various front-facing thought-leadership and business development initiatives.
ACICA Secretary-General, Diana Bowman, says of Amy’s appointment: “Amy’s expertise and enthusiasm for international arbitration make her an outstanding addition to the ACICA Secretariat. Amy’s deep understanding of the arbitration market, both in Australia and internationally, will be a valuable asset as we continue to grow. Amy’s appointment comes at a pivotal time for ACICA, with a rising case load and increasing demand for ACICA’s services, events and initiatives. We are delighted to welcome Amy to the team and look forward to working together to further strengthen ACICA’s impact, broaden our reach and continue raising Australia’s profile as a leading seat for international arbitration.”
