Welcome to ACICA E‑Filing

Our E‑Filing system allows you to submit a case to ACICA in accordance with Article 5.1 of the ACICA Arbitration Rules and ACICA Expedited Arbitration Rules or 2.1 of the ACICA Mediation Rules and pay your registration fee online by credit card (a 2% charge applies) or via EFT. Parties are encouraged to review the notification provisions in Article 4 of the ACICA Arbitration Rules and ACICA Expedited Arbitration Rules prior to submission. Cases may also be filed directly with the ACICA Secretariat by email to secretariat@acica.org.au.

*We note that while our office remains closed in response to COVID-19, the submission of two hard copies of the Notice of Arbitration to ACICA is not required. However, hard copies are requested to be provided to ACICA once the office re-opens.

Arbitration case filings

Arbitration case filings will require you to upload the following:

  • a copy of your Notice of Arbitration (see Articles 5.3 and 5.4 of the ACICA Arbitration Rules and Article 5.3 of the ACICA Expedited Arbitration Rules for relevant requirements); and
  • any documents supporting service under Article 5.5 of the ACICA Arbitration Rules and Article 5.4 of the ACICA Expedited Arbitration Rules.

Mediation case filings

Mediation case filings will require you to upload the following:

  • a copy of your Request for Mediation (see Articles 2.2 and 2.3 of the ACICA Mediation Rules for relevant requirements).
