International Commercial Arbitration
Our forensic group is one of the largest and most experienced in Australia and the Asia-Pacific. We have been involved in many major, high-profile arbitrations and other multi-party disputes. Many of our experts are recognised as global leaders and regularly sought by legal, corporate and government clients.
Clients rely on our expertise in preparing reports and providing evidence relating to the quantification of loss or damage and related commercial issues. Working with clients and their legal specialists, we analyse all available information to assist with the legal strategy of the claim or defence. Looking beyond the numbers, we identify the relevant issues, isolate key business metrics and evaluate the financial impact to deliver a full picture to our clients. We present our findings in an independent, transparent and clear manner in a report or as expert witness testimony at trials, before arbitral tribunals and in alternative dispute resolution proceedings.
Our experience includes domestic and international arbitrations in matters across various industries, including construction, utilities, manufacturing, property, tourism and hospitability. Combining our extensive expertise in accounting, eDiscovery, data analytics and investigations, our team approaches each engagement with a holistic view and a proven track-record.
We have worked on several institutional arbitration matters through the International Chamber of Commerce, Australian Centre for International Commercial Arbitration, International Centre for Settlement of Investment Disputes, United Nations Commission on International Trade Law, Singapore International Arbitration Centre and Hong Kong International Arbitration Centre. We also provide expert witness services in ad-hoc arbitration matters, seated and heard in various global locations.
